About our team

Our team of consultants (both prior to being involved in The Lean Hub and since) have been involved in the delivery of Lean implementations for decades both in NZ and around the world. This experience spans dozens of industries from service-based businesses to 24/7 manufacturing plants exporting all over the globe. The Lean Hub uses Lean Manufacturing tools and applies them specifically to a business and the unique challenges they face. We do not see Lean as simply a set of tools that can only be applied to business processes, but we see Lean as a way of life that needs to be fully embraced across an organization to innovate, grow and achieve sustainable success. This of course also applies to the implementation of Lean 2.0 and we are huge believers in using technology to help companies innovate.

Our consultants have skills facilitating, teaching and implementing all common lean tools and we as a business also have lots of experience in developing and implementing Industry 4.0.

The Lean Hub believes in being inclusive, non-discriminatory and respectful to all cultures, religions and races. We work across multiple industries, regions and demographics and therefore have the privilege of working with many different people from different backgrounds. To this end, most of our staff can speak more than one language and we each have the utmost respect for different ethnic backgrounds and diversities.

We have instilled into our staff the importance of being inclusive and encourage participation at all levels of an organisation. We believe inclusion is critical for an effective CI culture, but it also acknowledges the important part the Treaty plays in our history. We believe in partnership and how at all levels of an organisation, all people should be valued and have a say.

Our team are also trained in Treaty basics and have an understanding of Māori Tikanga and Te Reo and at all times adhere and respect these cultural protocols in our dealings with organisations.

Our team is centred around family values and we try to instil this into our interactions with businesses as we recognise that success at work is determined by success at home, and if we can help our businesses, their staff, and their families be better, this is a win for all.

  1. Be humble
We believe in keeping our feet on the ground and our head out of the clouds. We don’t have time for egos or being precious – we leave that to the ‘consultants’. Success is shared, and we’d rather see our clients in the spotlight than we would ourselves.

  2. Be practical
We believe in rolling up our sleeves, getting our hands dirty, and walking the talk. We believe actions speak louder than words and that results that we can see and feel will trump words on a page: always. We are curious problem-solvers and we’re motivated to help find a better way.
  3. Be dependable
We always do what we say we will, we consistently follow-through and we stand by our word. It keeps us honest and builds trust with those around us. We hold ourselves and each other accountable, support from the inside out, and can always be relied on to deliver.
