Hidden waste, in places nobody was looking.
Metal Art wanted continuous improvement to be part of everyday work, not a one-off project. That meant looking beyond the production floor to the office and admin processes as well.
The team was mixed, including people with English as a second language, so the learning had to work for everyone.

We delivered the NZQA New Zealand Certificate in Lean and Operational Excellence on site, applying Lean tools such as 5S and value stream mapping on the production floor and in the office.
Our facilitators built the learning around Metal Art's own work and made sure every learner could take part and succeed.
